To Agoura Hills Patch

“Patch is having a tremendous influence on getting pets adopted. Yesterday Boston was Pet of the Week and today she was adopted. She had been at the shelter since October 9! I'll make the announcement in the comment section. Please share with your bosses how much we appreciate your and their influence in finding homes for our pets.”

To Mt. Airy Patch

“Charlie Marvin, the sweetest most lovable dog ever says, ‘I have a new home with a lovely family that is going to love, respect, protect, and care for me and treat me as a cherished member of their family! Thank You Mt. Airy Patch. I could not have found them without you!’”

To Burlington Patch

“We had no power [during the October 2011 blizzard] and checked into a hotel on Saturday the 30th. Back to the power house....but without your coverage we would have been in the dark! Rich, your storm updates were the most reliable and much appreciated. I'm reading Patch daily and again can't say thank you enough for your efforts.”

To Naugatuck Patch

“After the snowstorm, 95 percent of my town was without power. I went to the local library, which was operating a warming shelter and a place people could get food. The children's librarian told me they were printing out copies of Mayor Bob Mezzo's blog. Then he said, "We've actually also been printing out Patch articles, just to keep people informed." That's pretty cool, isn't it? Obviously while no one has power, some people don't have smart phones. So having handy copies of my articles (I hope) helps."

To Monrovia Patch

“Thanks to the city for their excellent response and communications throughout this emergency and to Patch for being a great source of information. I was left in the dark in more ways than one with 24 hours without power and Internet or cell phone access... So very glad to have my Internet and Patch access back!”

To Ocean City Patch

“Have to agree with everyone who is so thankful for this site. It certainly did calm a lot of nerves for those of us residents who did evacuate [during Hurricane Irene]. Great job Doug and staff and everyone else who contributed. Thanks ever so much!”
